Mail Identity Cloud

Privacy policy

Mail Identity Cloud uses Google mailbox and contact data to identify senders and avoid duplicate cards.

Data accessed and used

The service requests Gmail metadata and read-only Google Contacts access. It uses mailbox identifiers, message identifiers, sender names and addresses, and contact email addresses for account checks, sender matching and duplicate prevention. It does not read email bodies or attachments, send email, or edit Google Contacts.

Storage and transfers

The private Hetzner worker stores authorisation tokens and processing records. Hosting backups may retain copies. The worker may contact public websites using a sender’s domain to find a logo. It writes matched sender names, addresses and logos to the operator’s iCloud Contacts for sync to Apple devices. These public information pages are hosted by Cloudflare and do not receive mailbox data.

Google user data is used for the sender identity feature and its operation. Mail Identity Cloud does not sell it or use it for advertising or AI model training. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Disconnect or request deletion

You can remove Mail Identity Cloud access in your Google Account connections. Contact the administrator who invited you to request removal of stored connection data, processing records or generated contact cards. Revoking access stops future reads. Existing iCloud cards and backup copies require separate removal or backup expiry.
